We welcome conversations with:
- Correspondent and referring law firms seeking Kenyan counsel for their clients

- Immigration and relocation partners assisting clients moving to or investing in Kenya
- Advisory firms — tax, accounting, wealth management — whose clients need Kenyan legal counsel
We treat every referral relationship as a long-term partnership, not a one-off transaction, with direct partner access, responsive turnaround, and clear communication throughout.
How a referral works
- Get in touch. Email info@mjmadvocates.com with a short summary of the matter and the parties involved. Referrals are overseen personally by James Mwaura, Managing Partner.
- Conflict check first. Before any substantive discussion, we check the parties against our records and confirm whether we are able to act.
- A response within 24 hours. We acknowledge every referral within 24 hours and confirm the next steps, the team who will handle the matter, and our fee basis.
- You stay informed. With the client’s consent, we keep the referring firm updated at agreed milestones, and we respect your continuing relationship with the client.
